September Reflection and Meditation
August provided us with a lot of intense cosmic energy. Now, more planets are turning back direct, the air is cooling down, and you are left with your own thoughts and experiences to sift through. This September, ask yourself — What can I flirt with more in my life ?
Gently prepare yourself to engage in a loving self-reflection. Breathe in slowly and sweetly, releasing your thoughts with every exhale. Clear your mind, let your emotions fade away, and bring yourself into this present moment. If your mind begins to wander during your meditation, simply come back to your breath — it is always there to support you.
Begin to introduce the question — What can I flirt with more in my life? Think about the small moments in life when you felt bliss. Maybe it is listening to a song that makes you reminisce on happy memories. Or, it could be losing yourself in a good book, nature, or conversation. Think of the happiest times of your life, or a happy future that you want to create. Reflect on all the sensory details — the smells, the sun on your back, the colors, or whatever else comes up to fully immerse yourself in this process. Or things you just absolutely love tending to — like a garden, your home, or a book you’re writing. Follow your gut with this one, and breathe in the amazing feelings these moments induce.
Once you have your moments of bliss, follow them fully. Dedicate yourself to engaging in this as often as possible, even if it is for five minutes a day. If your moment of bliss was looking at the stars, go outside at night for 60 seconds and gaze at them. Any tiny action that brings you peace is more powerful than you think. You can call upon these memories when times get tough or in moments of stress, and breathe in all that sensual pleasure.
Life is never a constant flow of peace or even happiness, and that is why right now, in this moment, you can create an anchor for yourself to tap into peace, pleasure, and filtration when you need it. No one can ever take away your memories, experiences, and tiny moments that make you remember that life is good and bigger than we can imagine. Breathe into your bliss, feel every sensation, and let your heart ease. Nothing you are attracted to is an accident. Flirt with the things that have brought you joy more deeply. Spark it up again. Throughout this month, make time to be with these things, get curious about them, and invite them closer to you.
When you journey into the curiosities of your own consciousness, your relationship with yourself grows stronger and you stand in your power. Allowing yourself to begin this journey is an act of self-love. Many people are holding the same intention during this meditation, making it a powerful reminder that we are all connected and in this together.
